Each dog, cat and horse on our farm is a unique gift and we are privileged to be able to share our lives with them.

MURPHY
In his grief over the loss of a dog, a little boy (or girl) stands for the first time on tiptoe, peering into the rueful morrow of manhood.  After this most inconsolable of sorrows there is nothing that life can do to him that he will not be able to somehow bear.     - James Thurber

There's such beauty in the hard honesty of that, in accepting and giving love (to our animals)
while always aware that it comes with an unbearable price.   -  Dean Koontz
"We share the same creator."  -  Anthony Douglas Williams

After all our dogs had passed, we were inundated with feral cats/litters and of course we had to add a few to our family.  All above were feral to semi-feral except Hans.  He was adopted along with his two brothers, Lucky and Holmes (below In Memorial). Tommie was mom to Stella and Frannie.  Mabel came a few years earlier and had just weaned her litter.
